Hello, my Darlings! How are you all doing? How’s summer so far? It’s such great weather now in Latvia, it’s hot but we do have enough rain too. I’m still enjoying my free time, reading, writting, seeing my friends . It’s amazing. So today I decided to do a Tag(The Sunkissed Summer), it’s just a random one I found online. Let’s dive in!

1. Beaches or Pools?

Totaly Beaches! Especially the lake ones .

giphy (5)
6. What is YOUR song of the summer?

This summer it is Somi -Birthday , it’s such a mood.

7. Do you have a summer bucket list? If so, share some things on the list.

I don’t this year, but I would love to go at least twice to the sea.

giphy (6)
8. Bikinis, Tankinis, or One Pieces?

I like them all, for real. Bikinis are good for just lying around on the beach, one piece and Tankinis are better for swimming in my opinion.

9. Must have summer makeup product?

Waterproof mascara and makeup remover wipes.

10. What’s your favorite thing about summer?

When I was younger summer was an exciting time to see all my friends and just enjoy the time off school, now it’s just another part of the year…just it’s hella hot outside. But I do enjoy swimming, spending more time outside and eat ice cream(lots of it).

Beauty Products I Liked, Hated and Didn’t care about.Pt1

Photo by Anastasia Dulgier on Unsplash

Hello, my Darlings! How are you all doing? Today I want to talk about some products I have tried in the last month. Almost all of them I have tried more than once, so I could really give my honest opinions . This is the first part out of two, didn’t want to make this post super long or do you prefer longer posts, let me know down in the comments. So let’s dive in!

1.GlissKur Purify and Protect Shampoo

I really liked it, the packaging is cute. My hair feels healthy and clean after using. I was a little bit scared it would strip my hair color(I color my hair regularly in darker color then my hair is) but it didn’t do it. It doesn’t have any artificial color or parabens in it and that’s amazing!

Would I Repurchase it ?- Yes, definitely

Was It affordable? -Yes, it was a little under 2 euros.

About the Product: Developed to meet the needs of environmentally damaged hair, the ultra-light PURIFY & PROTECT line of products incorporates MORINGA MAG EXTRACT into the hair and provides a lightweight protective net against harmful external effects.

2.Fito Cosmetic Anti-dandruff Concentrated Shampoo

It made my scalp ichy, maybe I had an allergic reaction, really don’t know but it was awful. Not happy with this Shampoo.

Would I Repurchase it ?- No

Was It affordable?- Yes

About the Product: With juniper oil and sage. Anti Dandruff. For all hair types. Birch tar and decoction of juniper and sage – this is a great old folk recipe to quickly strengthen the hair and prevent dandruff.

3. Dove Deeply Nourishing Body Wash

This is amazing! The best body wash for shaving(no joke). I love the scent and it makes my skin silky without feeling oily . Love it!

Would I Repurchase it ?-Yes

Was It affordable?- Yes, around 2 euros

About the Product: This moisturizing body wash combines NutriumMoisture™ with mild cleansers to help your skin retain its natural moisture, leaving you with softer, smoother skin after just one shower. The caring formula in this Dove body wash helps maintain your skin’s moisture barrier while delivering natural skin nourishment that goes deep into the surface layers of your skin. It creates a rich lather that replenishes your skin’s nutrients while also leaving it feeling cared for and clean.

Ohhh…I hate this with a passion. Let me explain, so I bleached my hair (high light style)because I wanted to strip my hair off the dark brown I had at the time. And sections of my hair was light brown. I saw this hair color and decided to try it out for a week or two, and it was perfect because at the time I wanted to make my hair even lighter in the future, so I couldn’t dye my hair with anything permanent. So I did everything as the instruction said, and my hair did had a beautiful turquoise tone, but after touching it my whole hand was turquoise . I thought it was just my mistake and I didn’t wash it out properly. And you know how long it stayed on my hair? For 2 day! After one wash it was out…..Guys I had better results from much cheaper stuff, So disappointing.

Would I Repurchase it ?-No

Was It affordable?– I got it for 6 euros (it was on a discount ), and it isn’t worth that money

About the Product:L’Oréal Paris Colorista Washout Turquoise fades gradually over 1-2 weeks so you can switch and change your hair colour whenever you want.
Based on Chroma-Cream technology in a conditioning hair-mask base, it softly colours your hair while caring at the same time.
Colorista Washout Turquoise washes out gradually, shampoo after shampoo.

Himalaya “Fresh Start Oil Clear Strawberry “Face Wash review

Hello, My Darlings! How are you all doing? Hope the summer is going good for you.

Here I will have a little rant, so if you are not interested totally go ahead and scroll down to the review! So the past week I put up a blog post called “May’s Favorites” all was good for a few days(people where liking and I did check it out few times and it was okay), but after that, I opened up to check it out and I see that it’s blank…..and there are just 2 photos no text or anything….and it was not posted ?!All the text just disappeared..I was so disappointed because writing something and putting your time in it and then it just randomly disappearing, without any logical explanation is hard. Have you ever had this kind of a problem? I have come to terms with it now of course and in the future will definitely make copies of any posts I will ever write, just sucks to lose perfectly good post that’s all. Okay, that’s the end of the rant . Thanks for reading and now let’s dive into the review!

My thoughts

4/5 stars

Being very truthful packaging was the selling point for me . It’s so summery and cheerful, right?! So seeing that it was just 2 euros in my local grocery store I got it. It’s a plastic semi-transparent tube where you can see the product, and I appreciate it. The only downside the tube started leaking after opening.

Texture and Quality

4/5 stars

The beads are small and not a lot of them are in there, and I prefer it that way. It’s not harsh on the skin, doesn’t leaves your skin feeling dry after using. Has a nice light strawberry smell. I do use it for my acne on my back, and it works much better for the body in my opinion(that’s what I saw after 2 weeks of using)

Great smell

Light Scent

Cute packaging

Microbeads are bad for the environment

The tube started leaking after opening

4/5 stars

To Marry a Morgan (Pathways to Romance Book 1) – Spoiler Free book review!

Hello, my Darlings! How are you? I hope this week started amazingly for you. Today I want to talk to you about a book I got as an ARC recently. I’m a big Historical Fiction fan so it was a perfect fit for me. Let’s dive into it!

About the book

A secret, an unseen witness, and a misunderstanding threaten to keep apart two people who have loved each other their entire lives. When these barriers to love are finally lifted, can she overcome her own insecurities and finally see the truth?

Racked with guilt and blaming himself for his brother’s death, Phillip Heartford left his ancestral home five years ago.

After losing the love of her life, the beautiful Allison Morgan is resentful and angry. She has rejected countless suitors, and now, in the middle of her third season, she may be out of options.

Allison’s younger sister Julia is an ugly duckling. At least that is how she sees it. Although a happy marriage seems out of her reach, she hopes to one day live a quiet life as a spinster. If she cannot have her own fairytale ending, she is determined to do anything to help her sister and her dear friend, Phillip, find their happiness.

Little does Julia know that Phillip has always loved her. Unfortunately, he believes that it was this love that caused his brother’s death and destroyed Julia’s chance for happiness. He must now take a bride. Having convinced himself that his brother would want him to protect Julia, Phillip intends to become her brother by marrying Allison.

Returning home to fulfill his duty, will Phillip be able to follow his conscience or will his heart interfere?

To Marry a Morgan can be read as a stand-alone romance, though it is part of a sweet Regency series. It is a childhood-friends and second-chance romance. The books of this series, in chronological order, are:

To Marry a Morgan
The Duke and the Damsel (to be released 6/19/19)
Books three through six to be released in 2019

You can find this book

My thoughts

The story 4/5

Setting of the book4/5

Main Hero 4/5(I loved Julia, but Phillip was just a little bit meeh)

Smexy Times?– Non, a very clean story

I loved the writing style. The Romance between our main couple was really cute . I enjoyed the “flashbacks” from Phillips and Julia’s childhood. I wanted more of those.   It was a good story and I wanted more of it, I really felt like the story could be longer and still amazing(or maybe I just wanted more of this story). Overall I liked it , can’t wait to read the sequel.

4/5 stars

Hello, My Darlings! How are you all doing?

Life Update: I had electricity off/on for like 2 weeks now, because we are having the whole system changed(wasn’t planned at all). So I’m very sorry for not posting enough! Back to the review!

Finally, my Aliexpress orders are coming in and one of the things I got it was those Mini Instant noodles that are made for Scrapbooking, but I got them for my dolls. Let’s dive into it !

It will have a little keychain hole, thanks for your understanding!

the style will be sent at random

My Thoughts :

4,5/5 stars

Quality for the price is amazing! The print on the “noodles” is high quality (wasn’t expecting that), it has a glossy coat on them so they look shiny and realistic in my mind. The second picture you can see how it looks (scale size) near an S size ring.

5/5 stars

It was fast, for around 2 weeks. It came in a little envelope, with bubble wrap in it. Nothing bad to say about it!

5/5 stars

For the price and quality, I would definitely recommend those little “instants noodles”.I’m pretty happy with them. Great cheap miniature for 1/12 and 1/6 scale dolls. For scrapbooking, they would be perfect too(because one of the sides is flat, so you can easily glue them)
