Littleton and Adeline’s story was beautifully written, yes it’s started a little bit slower than I would like, but it didn’t ruin the story. I liked the family dynamic we got to see (the matrons were the best). This is a sweeter story than I anticipated. Littleton is very kind and charming, very sweet and considerate. Nothing “rake” about him at all. The whole story we get to see from three points of view- Miss Adelaide,Lord Littleton, and Lord Anglesley. It was a really big surprise for me, but it did give the story another interesting layer. So basically we get a love triangle, but regency style.

If you want something sweet, to read before bed and really be transported to the regency era than this is for you!

Overall – 3,5/5 stars

This is the first book I have read from this particular author. My main reason for getting this ebook was the cover😍(and of course the title, who doesn’t love some fea in they’re life). I loved the writing style, the story was interesting and easy to follow. This story is told from multiple points of view, I don’t like books like that, but in this case, it worked, mainly because you could really tell the difference between our heroes. Overall a great easy and fast read, have already gotten the next book and can’t wait to see where this story is going

MY THOUGHTS

To be totally honest I didn’t buy it myself but got it from one of my friends who got it but didn’t like it after the first use(and in Latvia, you can’t exchange cosmetic products or get money back). So because she knows I have an oily skin type and like clay masks, she gave it to me. I have already tried some masks from this range(you can read about it here).

So about the actual mask. It’s very drying like overly drying and tightening, I actually love those kinds of masks because of my oily skin…but even for me at this time of the year when my skin is a little bit dryer this was too much. If you have dry patches or have a dry skin type this is definitely not for you. This mask did help with acne, my face got more cleaner and it was longer matt, but it’s more like once a week face mask not every other day one! But the main thing I didn’t like is, there isn’t a lot of product in it. Like the packaging is pretty heavy, the product in it…there isn’t much of it inside. And it does dry out pretty quickly after opening the jar, so keep that in mind if you get it.

OVERALL

I would recommend for anyone who has oily skin and acne-prone skin.

Hello, My Darlings! How are you all feeling? So in Latvia because of this pandemic, schools and universities are closed until the 14 of April. All events are canceled until April and our borders are closing too. So no coming to Latvia or leaving for some time. The first-day people where panicking, buying toilet paper and buckwheat. You’re not supposed to kiss your best friend.
You’re definitely not supposed to kiss your best friend while you’re dating someone else.
And the absolute worst thing you could do is fall for your best friend.
Unless, of course, you want to ruin everything.

I was up the whole night to finish this book, so you can say I was invested! I really really liked it…but did I love it? Not really, there were moments I felt where dragging a little bit. But did it make the story less interesting and sweet? No, totally not. I would recommend it if you like angsty romance stories.

After reading the first one, I decided to read the whole series. This was a very raw and emotional read. Definitely more intense than the first book. A very honest story of love, life and growing up. I loved it, would definitely recommend it.

This book blew my mind! I didn’t expect the road it took. I’m really trying not to spoil it, because of how much my mind was blown… just read it! And yes, it does drag a little bit in the middle but the ending…it makes up for it.

I got some new Stuff- Avon “Skin and Body care” Haul

Hello, My Darlings! And Hey if you are new here, it’s so nice to see you! Today I want to talk about some goodies I got from Avon. I didn’t really plan to get anything this month, but me being sick for 2 weeks and the catalog just sitting on the table…well I made an order(yes, I have no self-control when it comes to pretty cosmetic bottles). So I paid for all of those goodies around 20 euros, cheaper than our drugstores (We Love Saving Money) . Let’s dive into the Haul!

Naturals skincare Hydrating “Aloe & Cotton” face cream and Naturals skincare Hydrating “Aloe & Cotton” face mask

Why I got it – I got those both for my mom. She has dry skin and this sounded like something she would enjoy. The face cream and mask has a very nice light aloe scent(you know, THAT scent). Isn’t greasy.

Naturals hair care Full Volume Shampoo (raspberry & hibiscus)

Why I got it – This is a HUGE bottle(and I love it)! The price was decent (3,88 euro for 700 ml bottle) so I decided to get it. I already tried it, and I can say I like it. It does give you volume, but not over the top one. Now I want to try more of those shampoos.

Simply delicate Calming fragrance-free Feminine wash

Why I got it – I needed one, and this was at a very good discount(originally around 3 euros, I got it for 1.40 euro). I liked it,does the job . Overall a good product!

Senses Infusions Collection zen Mandarin & Jasmin shower gel and

Senses 2-in-1 for men Energising amber & cedarwood hair and body wash

Why I got it – This was a set deal (2 for 2.99 euro). You can never have too many shower gels in my opinion. Both of them has an amazing scent, and the quality of the actual product is great(I really love Avon’s shower gel formula)

Naturals Body care black Cherry & Nutmeg shower gel

Why I got it -Another Shower gel! I got this as a gift for buying over 19 euros on Avon’s online store. Can say I will definitely get another one after using this one up.

French Lilac BubbleBath

Why I got it – This smells like unicorns, rainbows and my childhood. We had 2 big french lilac bushes around my house when I was growing up and the smell always made excited for spring. I will definitely buy some more.

Cherish Roll-on deodorant

Why I got it – My deodorant was running out, and I needed a new one. I decided to get this one because I have never tried Avon’s perfumed deodorants and the price was good(around 2 euros). And I can say…the scent is phenomenal! It’s so fresh, but very feminine at the same time. LOve LOve love it!

Nourishing with cocoa butter Hand cream for dry to extra dry skin

Why I got it – This I got as a gift for my best friends(Alina and Agness). We have this tradition , we get each other little gifts for the international women’s day and those looked so cute. So I got them those hand creams. I really hope they will love.

This was an epic treasure hunt! The treasure hunt was even better than the romance(and the romance in this book was GOOD). I loved the bickering between our main couple (Jane and Adam) it was well written and the tension was sooo real! The writing style was phenomenal, can’t wait to read more from this author.

MY THOUGHTS

It’s the first skincare item I have tried from a Lithuanian brand, and it wasn’t bad. So I paid around 4.99 euros for this 150 ml face wash, not cheap in my opinion. I have tried this product just a few times, so it’s truly a “first impression”. What can I say…it has a creamy consistency, not gel-like but more like a thin moisturizer. It has a very strong pine scent, it’s not overbearing but still not something I would want in my skincare. It didn’t dry out my skin,but my mom who has a dry skin type did say it was too drying for her. I would say this face wash is more for someone who was a combination/normal skin type.

“Truce? Hating Elijah Monroe” by Amelia Kingston – This book Made me Cry……(book review)

Harper gave Elijah her heart when she was sixteen, and never forgave the jerk for not wanting it. Probably for the best, since he’s also her stepbrother.

Elijah still makes Harper’s blood boil and heart race. And he knows it. She’ll wipe that smug smirk off his gorgeous face before leaving town. The only question is if she wants to do it with a kiss or a slap.

Another 5star read?! Am I in book heaven?! This book was amazing…and hella short! I loved how clueless was Harper with the whole Elijah situation, the sexual tension in this book was INSANE and those sweet moments were just adorable. And it made me cry, this book made me cry ugly tears in the middle of the night. You know why? Because of the sweet ending…

Why isn’t it longer??? I need more, much more! Give me more!

Overall an amazing book, would recommend.

Despite using my cheery teacher voice, my pep talk’s still not working. I’m better with optimistic six-year-olds.

No matter what I say, the sun will always rise and set on Elijah in his mother’s eyes. He could murder a puppy while setting an elementary school on fire and she’d still sing his praises. That’s what mothers do.

Hello, my Darlings. How are you? It’s so nice to see you on my blog. February was a slow month for me, I got sick and did stay in bed for the majority of the month. So, of course, I read a lot of books and watched some old tv shows. But I did have some favorites this month too…so let’s dive into it!

Oriflame “Milk & Honey”Hand and Body cream

This is one of the best creams I have ever used(~~no joke~~)! Like it helps moisturize your skin but isn’t greasy. Has a light, but very lovely scent(I’m obsessed). I’m definitely buying more!

Essence Prime+ studio Mattifying +pore minimizing Primer with black clay

One of my favorite primers ever! This really helps with pore minimizing but doesn’t clog up pores. Would recommend!

Avon True Supreme Nourishing lipsticks in the color Softest Peony

Our weather was colder in February, so I didn’t wear a lot of matt lipsticks. This one was my lifesaver, this is a hydrating but a long-lasting lipstick! Has a beautiful semi-sheer finish. I really like it.

For this one, I have two books. Both made me very emotional, but in a good way.

The first one is The Bromance Book Club (Bromance Book Club #1) by Lyssa Kay Adams

This was my DYRC20 pick for February (here is the full review). All I can say it’s an amazing book, and you need to check it out!

and the second one “Truce? Hating Elijah Monroe” by Amelia Kingston

This made me cry in the best way possible, there will be a review next week. So stay tuned for that!

Eurovision season is opened and I already have two songs I’m listening on repeat!
