Another Oriflame product I tried for the first time. This one was a birthday gift from a dear friend, she loves Oriflame and always gets me something. I tried this eye cream for a week straight and here are my thoughts. Let’s dive into it!
Cute cardboard box, inside there is a “how-to” manual(sometimes it’s a very needed thing). The actual eye cream tube is very well made, from sturdy plastic, and looks expensive.
TEXTURE AND QUALITY
The eye cream is thick but not extra thick, and that’s very nice. The cream has no scent, and it feels light under the eyes. Weirdly enough there is very fine glitter in the cream, don’t know if it helps with anything, but it’s here. Of course, it’s too early to say but, my undereye feels much smoother and a little bit lighter, so that’s amazing. Another great thing, it’s not greasy. I have a problem with too greasy eye creams, sadly it breaks me out. That’s why eye creams usually are a very big hit or miss, but this was a hit(for now).
Overall a good product and I would highly encourage you to try it for yourself, and…it makes a great gift for any mom/aunt/grandmother.
Ten years ago he killed my son. Today I married him.
Ten years ago my darling son Jesse was murdered and our perfect family was destroyed. My strong, handsome boy, so full of life, became a memory, a photo I carried with me everywhere.
But today I’m finally close to finding happiness again. My ash-blonde hair has been curled into ringlets. Carefully placed white flowers frame my delicate features. The small, drab chapel has been prettied up with white satin, and there are tiny red hearts scattered on the small table where I will soon sign the register with my new husband.
The man who killed my son.
My friends and family can’t understand it. My neighbours whisper in the street whenever I walk past. How can I love a man like Tom?
They don’t really know me at all…

Another disappointing “thriller”, but a great family drama. Expected the whole time some twists and turns, but no…I don’t know what this new marketing trend is, to advertise family dramas as psychological thrillers, but it’s getting annoying. So the book really was a beautiful family story of forgiveness and second chances. It was good, the writing was enjoyable, the multiple POVs sometimes felt a little bit forced but that’s not critical. Overall it was okay, would reccomend it.

My hair type is Oily on roots and dry at the ends because of all the chemicals in my hair dye, so picking a daily shampoo and conditioner is tricky. Dove is such an iconic brand, but I haven’t tried any hair products by them. So I found a shampoo and conditioner in a grocery store and was like…Why not try it?! And the price was good(1,79 euro for each). After a month of using here are my thoughts!
First of all the scent is AMAZING! And it stays in your hair for a while, if you don’t like that…then it could be a downside. For me it’s a major plus, I love my hair smelling nice. The shampoo has tiny shimmer particles, don’t know if it does anything but it does look pretty. The conditioner is nice and thick. After washing my hair every other day, I can say my hair feels smooth and very clean. The only downside is my hair color faded a little bit, I guess it’s the harsh sulfates in the shampoo. Overall I’m very happy with this duo if you can definitely try it.
When it comes to the skin around the eyes, puffiness and dark circles are some of the most common concerns. Fortunately, the right eye cream can help smooth and brighten this delicate skin to help you look your best. Look for an eye cream formulated with ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to deliver hydration while also restoring the skin’s natural barrier. It’s also important to use a product that is ophthalmologist-tested for safety, like CeraVe Eye Repair Cream, which is suitable for use around the eyes.
CeraVe Eye Repair Cream features a Marine & Botanical Complex to help brighten the entire eye area. Suitable for all skin types, our non-greasy, fast-absorbing, fragrance-free eye cream also contains three essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, plus patented MVE Delivery Technology that releases of moisture for prolonged skin hydration
This one was given to me by my friend because it didn’t suit her skin. I have heard many good things about the brand, so I was excited to try it. I’m using it already for around 2 months, and here are my thoughts :
First of all, the texture is pretty thick. It doesn’t really have a scent, and that’s amazing. I’m someone who has awful dark circles, So How does my undereye area feel after this cream? To be honest...I don’t seeany big changes. Yes, my undereye area is much smoother…but my dark circles are still there for good.Maybe it’s better for puffy eyes, but thankfully I don’t get puffy eyes, so I can’t comment on that. Another not-so-great thing, when even if the little bit of cream gets into the eye vision gets pretty blurry for some time and that’s super annoying. Would I repurchase it? Nope. Would I recommend it? Not really.

This was an interesting one…I didn’t know it was the 3rd book in a series, so the first 7 pages were confusing. But after getting over it, the story was enjoyable. It was wholesome, well written, and really atmospherical. I liked the romance, it was sweet. The only thing, the English in this one was really “proper” as in 1800 proper. So as a person whose native language is not english, it was hard to read fast, and if you are a beginner english reader…skip this one!
So I decided to try Sinsay new cosmetics line, those blushes was on sale and I was like- Why not to try?.I got two blushes one is-Peach,and other – Dusty Rose.Let’s talk about them.
Those blushes came in a minimalistic black packacking,no box ,no nothing like that. Easy to open and close.
TEXTURE AND QUALITY
It has no scent, that’s the biggest thing I was afraid of and I’m glad it doesn’t have it. The texture is light, a little bit chalky, but it’s not critical. I love using Peach as a contour, it’s such a beautiful color. Easy to blend, easy to build up.
I’m shocked how good those are, for the price(a little over 2 euros) it’s amazing, I Will get more of sinsay makeup. Overall would recommend it for you to try.
I got it from my friend, it was the wrong color match for her(in Latvia you can’t exchange cosmetic products) and she was like-You are super pale, here you go. And if you know me, I always love to try new products. So…I loved this one. It’s not oily and doesn’t break me out. The color is not the best match( I have Light), but in the summer it’s good.
From Martin Luther’s Wittenberg Theses by Meika Roth-Beka and Klauss Enzikat
This was very interesting. It’s a short story of Martin Luther and his Theses that changed the Christian world. It’s a picture book, but it’s not for children(I would say it’s for ages 12 and up). It would be a good supplement for history lessons.
Sisyphus The Myth
I have watched the first 4 episodes, and my mind was blown. It’s so good! Can’t wait to see were the story will go.
Tak Dong Kyung has been working hard ever since her parents passed away. Her life seemed more stable after working as a web novel editor for 6 years, but then she gets diagnosed with glioblastoma (brain cancer). She blames her unlucky life and wishes to curse everything to disappear, which unintentionally calls Myeol Mang, Doom himself – neither human nor god – to appear. Myeol Mang says that he can grant Dong Kyung’s wishes. As her last hope, she makes a contract with Myeol Mang for a hundred days to live how she wants, risking her everything.
The first 4 episodes were the best Tv experience I had in ages. It was engaging, fun, and the chemistry between our main leads sizzling…but after, it was just going downhill. The writing got sloppy in places, the actors still did a good job, but I wasn’t invested anymore. Like it wasn’t super bad, just my expectation was higher.
THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN OUR MAIN COUPLE(S)?
The main couple had pretty good chemistry, so that’s amazing. We had a love triangle, but the twist…it was our secondary leads. It was done okay, I wasn’t super excited about it. But the chemistry was okay.
HOW IT ENDS
I expected a Hotel Del Luna kind of ending, but no…It was the opposite. To be honest I don’t know if I liked it, or not. Very mixed feelings.
The Call (Korean: 콜; RR: Kol), also known as Call, is a 2020 South Korean thriller film directed by Lee Chung-hyun, starring Park Shin-hye and Jeon Jong-seo. Based on the 2011 British and Puerto Rican film The Caller, The Call revolves around Seo-yeon (If you are looking for something mind-bending, intriguing, and unexpected then this is for you! It does explore the question-what of you could stop something awful from happening? Is it worth it?) and Young-sook (Jeon Jong-seo), two women from different times who connect through a phone call which interchanges their fates. The film is originally to be released theatrically but cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. It was released on Netflix globally on November 27, 2020.
Thanks to Netflix I watched this one and I honestly loved it. Park Shin-Hye did an amazing job, I love her so much(she is such a talented actress). The last movie I watch with her as the main protagonist was #ALIVE(and it was amazing). Also, the actress Jeon Jong-seo who played the girl from “past” was super good in her role. Uhhhh it was great, would recommend it for a evening after work watch. Just keep in mind …there are lots of blood and maybe some missing body parts.

Despite their vows, despite themselves, love grows between Luca and Isolde as they travel across Europe with their faithful companions, Freize and Ishraq. This one was a good surprise. The reviews were mixed, so I expected a 3 star read at most…but It was a solid 4! The story was engaging, the writing was phenomenal and you could easily immerse yourself in the story. I liked Luca and Isolde, and the internal battles they had(and everything they ever knew). I expected magic, like actual magic, but it was mostly about what people at that time thought was “magic”.This would be perfect for like 7/8 grader who is learning about the middle ages as a supplement, and I think it was written with that in mind. Overall great book, can’t wait to read the next one.
