A lightweight, 24/7 hydrator that provides matte moisturization, instantly blurs imperfections, and preps for makeup.

Solutions for:
– Oiliness

My Thoughts:

Consistency: 4/5 stars

4-stars

It feels very slippery, but smooth when you put it on your face. It does feel like a silicon-based primer on the face. I’m not mad about it.

The quality of my skin after use: 3,5/5

3-5-stars

It’s too oily for me…sadly. I’m used to every single “for all skin types expecialy oily skin” products never working for me ,but I still buy them…Why??? Becouse I still hope that maybe it will work(If you don’t know my skin is very oily and acne pron). I think it’s better for winter or fall when my skin is a little bit on the dry side.

Overall: 4/5 stars

4-stars

IMG_20180614_125340

Overall it’s not that bad if I use it twice a week like a primer in this hot summer, but I think it’s better for my skin in winter. So if you have very oily skin keep that in mind.

It’s unusually warm in Latvia right now, like +23C (I’m very shocked by that because last year at this time we had snow lying around and now it’s basically summer). Can you all imagine it’s already May? I really can’t, time is going soooo fast! Today we are talking about my last month’s favourites. Let’s start!

Isana Young Active Clear Washcream

 for oily skin

Very unexpected this become one of my favourites wash creams ever.  It’s cheap, pretty good cleans the skin from excess oil and has a very good cooling effect.

Clinique 3 Piece Anti-Blemish Solutions 3-Step System Kit

I love Clinique products, and when I saw this set for a pretty good price I just needed to get it! I have tried already the Clarifying lotion and the All-Over clearing treatment, and this far I quite like it.It’s pretty good with fighting the acne I have and keeping my face oil free.

Isana Young Active Clear Washcream

 for oily skin

I got this face wash for my trip(like the last minute purchase) because mine run out. This was VERY affordable.I like the cooling effect it has when you put it on. For now, I am very glad I got it!

Beauty Formulas Purifying Charcoal Deep

Cleansing Nose Pore Strips 6pcs

I have already used those all up. Another beauty item I got for my trip. Those are good strips, nothing extra fancy. It does have a cooling, calming effect(that’s a plus), but I think I like the other ones from this brand better.

Clinique Pep-Start  HydroBlur Moisturizer

When I saw this moisturizer almost 10 euros cheaper in the ships store I know I needed to get it! I have tried (before buying it) a tester that I got with my last purchase in my local makeup store, and I really liked it. It goes perfectly under makeup and works like a primer. For now, I’m very happy with this moisturizer.

Tell me in the comments, What is the last beauty item you got?Did you like it?

Clinique High Impact Mascara review

I decided to splurge a little and treat myself buying an expensive mascara on my trip to Stockholm. After a long “window shopping ” at the cruise ship duty-free store, I got this one.I loved the packaging and Clinique is one of my favorite “high end” brand.I have been tasting it for fee months and here are my thoughts, but first…

The manufacturer promises:

  • Benefits: Volumized
  • Kicks up the volume and length of each and every lash.
  • Pure, deep colour only adds to the impact.
  • Lashes get instant volume and length.
  • Ophthalmologist tested.

My Thoughts:
Shade:5/5 stars
5star
shade maskara
Very rich black color.

The Wand: 4/5 stars

4-stars

mascara 1

Really generic, but still good.Helps you to comb your lashes from the base of lashes till the end.Gives natural lashes look.

The Formula: 3,5/5

3-5-stars

Very liquidy, if you start to blink right after applying the mascara it will smudge…a lot.And it doesn’t really give you the volume it claims to give. But it’s long lasting, that’s always a plus.

My Final Thoughts:

4-stars

If you need something that will give you the “I don’t have makeup on” look and you can splurge on mascara then this one is for you. Will I repurchase it?Not really…it’s too expensive and I like having more volume on my lashes. I have some other drugstore ones I liked more(for myself )then this one.Is it a bad mascara? No, it, I did enjoy it and still am, it’s just too expensive.

So tell me in comments,

What’s your favorite mascara?
