Third child Na-Hee is a doctor and she works with her husband Doctor Kyu-Jin (Lee Sang-Yeob) at the same hospital. They fell in love during their medical school days and got married, but their marriage life is not doing very well. Meanwhile, the first child Joon-Sun (Oh Dae-Hwan) and the second child Ga-Hee (Oh Yoon-Ah) are both divorcees and live with their parents. The youngest child Da-Hee struggles as an intern at a company.
So….I binge watched it for 12h straight…Do I regret it?No….not at all.
(But I do need to make smarter life choices )
I didn’t expect to like this,at all. But I did! Usualy I don’t like long dramas( more then 32 episodes),because it can feel really forced after some time. This was such a beautiful(and hilarious)story of family and relationships .Loved the plot ,all of the story arcs were really thought thru ,well directed and the acting was amazing! I really recommend you to go in blind because that’s how I did it and didn’t regret it. Overall an amazing drama, would highly recommend for you to check it out .
(If you are a Got7 fan it’s your lucky day, they are mentioned through out the drama)
The first time I heard about Munsters was two years ago when I looked up The Addams family original tv show. As someone who didn’t grow up in America and didn’t watch reruns of old sitcoms (like really old) like the Addams family, I was intrigued. The only thing why I didn’t watch any episodes till this day was because they are in black and white, and to be honest this wasn’t something I was into. But now finding all of the episodes on Youtube in amazing quality I was like”Why notwatch it!”. I watched the first season this week and here are my thoughts…
Who are the Munsters?
So the family consists of 5 family members we see in every episode(and some more who come and go). There are Lily(vampire) and Herman(Frankensteins monster), a married couple, they have a son whose name is Eddie(a werewolf).Grandpa(Lilies dad and a vampire) who makes different experiments in the basement, and then we have the only “normal” family member Marylin(she is Lilie’s niece). She is a “normal” teen who wants to find love and be more like her family. The Munsters live at 1313 Mockingbird Lane in the city of Mockingbird Heights, a fictional suburb in California. And they have a pet Dragon. The running gag of the series is that the family, while decidedly odd, consider themselves fairly typical working-class people of the era.
My Favorite Family member- Lily
In the first season, she is played by Yvonne De Carlo , and I can say I loved her in this role! I loved her look and how involved she was with her son and niece. And I can say …that contour ,giiirrrlll what are you using?!
A family of friendly monsters have misadventures, never quite understanding why people react to them so strangely. The Munsters are a weird but honest family. … Marilyn (their niece) is the only normal one (that is the ugly duck of the family). I can say just one thing…Why isn’t it remade?! I would love to see a 2020 spin on this unique family and how they deal with everyday life. I really like that this family is not overly rich like The Addams, but are just middle classed family living quietly in the suburbs, thinking about kids’ college funds and how to save/make some extra money on the side. I felt like I could relate to them much more than the Addams.
Hello, my Darlings!I’m back! April was literally one of the craziest months I ever had. I had two trips one to Sweden for work and other to Ukraine …and between both of those I got sick, had a very high fever ….it was crazy. That’s why I didn’t post anything, but now my vacation is starting so I’m finally getting back to blogging. I missed you so much!!!
So how did we decide to go? Because my mom’s sister called and invited us to come and celebrate Orthodox Easter (It’s the same Easter but celebrated a week later).
I had a high fever at that time, so we waited for the last minute to decide are we going or no…and we decided to go.
I haven’t been to Ukraine for more than 7 years, I was excited to travel by bus and experience everything l remember doing every summer in my childhood.
The trip was hard,20 hours on a bus is a lot, but the view was amazing. We did travel thru Lithuania and Poland and nature was spectacular. I enjoyed that a lot. So I was in Ukraine(Lutsk) for a week, sadly we didn’t do a lot of sightseeing because we all were so tired from Sweden.
But I did spend time with my cousin and my aunt, Celebrated Easter with some blessed eggs and Kulich(traditional for Ukraine),
we did go for burgers, just chilled and talked. It was nice to just spend time with family that I haven’t seen for years. I did a little shopping so stay tuned for a haul post. I had an amazing time, and I’m so glad we had the opportunity to go.
