This was M-A-G-I-C-A-L! I loved almost everything about this drama, the cinematography was phenomenal. The story was very well told, the actors did an AMAZING job. I love Lee Dong-Wook, he is such a talented actor.  Truly a beautiful drama to end the year.

Tale of the nine tailed - filming locations (구미호뎐) - Dayoung

Another surprise I got was Kim Bum! I loved him in “Boys Over Flowers” and now seeing him in this drama was so cool. He aged like fine wine.

THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN OUR MAIN COUPLE(S)?

It was there! And that’s amazing. Jo Bo-Ah in the first episode tried too hard(I mean…I got it…your male lead is a legend), but after it…they worked better together.

MY THOUGHTS

PLOT

The whole drama started pretty awkward, the actors didn’t do a great job but with time they worked it out and the drama got sooo much better.I expected a little bit different story then I got. It looked like a fun comedy .but in reality  It’s more “grown up”, I would call it a “melodrama” in a way. I liked it. The plot was interesting,I liked the on/off relationship dynamic.

THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN OUR MAIN COUPLE(S)?

Ong Seong Wu Is Determined To Keep Seeing Shin Ye Eun In "More Than Friends" Episode 3 - kdramadiary

The main romantic plot was a love triangle, it’s not my favorite trope in a romance ,but it was done okay. To be honest I had the worst second-lead syndrome ever in this drama! If you don’t know Second Lead Syndrome or SLS is when you root for the second male lead in a drama and wish the female lead would choose him although you know that it wouldn’t happen.Maybe it was because the chemistry was stronger with the second lead then our main love interest. This romance wasn’t the only one we saw. The friendgroup had they’re own romance/problems we saw here and there and I loved watching it.

I expected the ending! It was good, sweet and we got answers to some questions. I’m okay with it.

It’s a mystery/romance drama and to be honest I didn’t care about the romance at all. I liked the plot, this whole “future seeing” thing was amazing! The first 3 episodes were my favorites, so many twists, and turns. Lee Jong Suk did a great job in this drama ,I loved watching him. Loved the family dynamics and the parallel story lines.

This was very unique, the plot was really good. It has mystery, romance, mental health awareness.  Felt like a Tim Burton movie, but kdrama edition and I love it. But….it wasn’t the best. The actors did an amazing job, but the script…felt like something was missing. Don’t get me wrong I loved it, just I expected a little bit more of it.

(But I do need to make smarter life choices )

I didn’t expect to like this,at all. But I did! Usualy I don’t like long dramas( more then 32 episodes),because it can feel really forced after some time. This was such a beautiful(and hilarious)story of family and relationships .Loved the plot ,all of the story arcs were really thought thru ,well directed and the acting was amazing! I really recommend you to go in blind because that’s how I did it and didn’t regret it. Overall an amazing drama, would highly recommend for you to check it out .

MY THOUGHTS

PLOT

I was excited about this drama ,I love Hwang Jung Eum and almost all of her dramas are in my favorite list. And both of the love interests are really great actors who I enjoy. This had everything I love in a drama : past lives, fantasy aspect, lots of cute moments, very well done love triangle…so why I didn’t absolutely love it? This was almost the same as “Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter, the idea was the same…the main love interests were the same actors…The main difference was this one is more realistic, but that’s basically it.

I was disappointed, maybe if I haven’t seen Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter I would absolutely love this one

What will happen when their worlds collide? A romantic thriller about how these two teenagers love, heal, and support each other through big and small events.

MY THOUGHTS

PLOT

Mmmkay, I expected this one to be like W-Two world  or Hotel Del Luna ,but I got Room .It started a little bit silly, lighthearted…yes we had this big event at the start of the drama. But after it,it’s pretty chill…at least the first 3 episodes, after it?It’s a mess, and VERY unexpected.

The Psychometric powers where an interesting part of the drama, never heard of it before ,so that’s nice. The actors did a great job ,my only complain is the editing…some scenes changed to fast and not smoothly.I did go into this drama “blind”,so that’s what I recommend to do.

Willing to take on any case, no matter how hard, Do Won has made a name for himself as a man who gets the job done. But when the woman he loves becomes the latest victim of a serial killer, his world completely changes. Literally.
Mysteriously able to move between parallel universes, Do Won now lives in both worlds as a man who must pay for the sins of his father in one, and as a man forced to live a precarious life because of those sins in the other. As if the duality of his life wasn’t hard enough to deal with, he soon learns that his deceased love may be gone in one world, but she’s very much alive in the other. Vowing to track down her killer in one universe, while simultaneously trying to protect her in the other, Do Won is quick to acknowledge this is not something he can do alone. Seeking the help of his colleagues in both universes, Do Won asks Han Seo Kyung, an honest, yet reserved prosecutor with a big heart in one world, and a cold and emotionless detective in the other, to help him out. Together with Lee Jung Min, a tenacious member of the scientific investigation unit, they’ll do whatever it takes to track down the killer in one world and protect his love in the other. But will their efforts in either universe really be enough?

PLOT

I don’t know what I expected from this drama…but  I got a totally different thing! Like it was GOOD, truly good. Lots of blood, a fascinating mystery, and a great main hero. The acting was good, sometimes too intense in my opinion but not painfully so…It was still enjoyable. It’s similar to Welcome2Life, so if you liked it you will love this too!

The controversial “Backstreet Rookie”, was it any good?-review

About the Drama :

MY THOUGHTS

PLOT

still cutsLet’s start with, why it’s controversial. From what I read online, the main complaint was it’s too raunchy and of course the caricature of “Reggae boy”. But putting it all aside, It’s a pretty unique love story. First of all,it’s realistic. The main love interest isn’t some rich guy with a multimillion company, but just your average hard-working guy. To be honest the first 2 episodes I didn’t like, after the 4 episode I started to really enjoy it…but the two last episodes were a disappointment.

Overall I would recommend it if you are tired of the cliche k-drama plots and want something fresh and more “grown-up” , but still silly and fun!

THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN OUR MAIN COUPLE(S)?

So our main couple is Choi Dae-Hyun and Jung Saet-Byul ,yes we do get a little love triangle situation but it was gone half way of the show,so I don’t feel like it’s relevant to talk in this context. Was there chemistry between  Choi Dae-Hyun and Jung Saet-Byul? Yes and No,let me explain…First 4 episodes you could feel the awkwardness,I don’t know how or why,but you could feel they are not relly comfortable with each other. After that I started to see the chemistry, but in my opinion there where not enough cute scenes overall and that’s a shame!
