After All I’ve Done by Mina Hardy

I was approved for this book on Netgalley, and guys…THIS WAS AMAZING!!! Full review you can read here.

Writing as Mina Hardy, New York Times bestselling author Megan Hart delivers a thrilling new psychological suspense for fans of The Woman in the Window and When the Lights Go Out.
She’s lost her best friend, her husband–and possibly, her mind.

Five months ago, an accident left Diana Sparrow badly injured and missing a few months of her memory. As if that’s not enough, she’s started having recurring nightmares about the night of the accident. Dreams that feel so real, she’s left questioning: maybe she didn’t just slide off the road into a ditch. Maybe, just maybe, she hit something. Or someone.

“W – Two Worlds”-The Kdrama that kept me awake

About the Drama :

thumbnailThe series focuses on the eponymous fictional webtoon entitled W, written and illustrated by its legendary author and illustrator Oh Seong-moo (Kim Eui-sung). W became famous in entire South Korea that even its version in print became a bestseller in the country. The storyline of the webtoon W starts with the younger years of its main character Kang Chul (Lee Jong-suk), a handsome and intelligent boy who is also skilled in shooting. He becomes famous in South Korea as he won a shooting competition during the 2004 Athens Olympics. But this fame gets ruined when his entire family was killed by an unknown Murderer, and he gets falsely accused of the crime. Another villain Han Cheol-ho (Park Won-sang) handles the case to gain political popularity, pronouncing in court to impose death penalty upon Kang Chul. Nevertheless, Kang Chul was deemed innocent of the crime. Depressed over losing his family, he attempts to commit suicide over the Han River but he stops himself and chooses to move on with his life. Ten years later, Kang Chul becomes a multimillionaire. cc0ec463da8c13568bd80e5e09f07a2e7146b00f_hqHe starts his “Project W” in his continuous efforts to catch the real culprit behind his family’s death; part of the project is his television broadcasting company dubbed “W,” after the initials of the interrogatives “who” and “why” (hence, the title of the webtoon). No. of episodes‎: ‎16 + 2 special episodes
Original release‎: ‎July 20 –; September 14, 2016
Original language(s)‎: ‎Korean

BrokenBlindAsiandamselfly-max-1mbIt was so fresh and unexpected! I loved the idea of webtoon coming to life(and they executed it perfectly), and Lee Jong-suk(who played Kang Chul)  was the perfect casting choice to play a cartoon character. Every episode had a lot of action, very unusual(in my opinion)to this kind of KDrama.I loved seeing the same scenes we just saw in “real life” ,to then seeing them in the webtoon,it was such a nice touch.  I liked it!

51e5796b920f2beb0a285f3f58d1485f9a659bf0_hqOur main couple Oh Yeon-Joo(played by Han Hyo-Joo) who is the daughter of the author of the webtoon “W”, and our main hero of the webtoon Kang Chul(played by Lee Jong-suk). The chemistry was there! Was it over the roof? No, but it was still there and that’s important!

*Mild spoilers*

5BXfKhWI expected much sadder Ending then we got, that shocked me(don’t know really why). For me the ending was satisfying, I really liked the last episode. To be very honest it felt a little rushed, but still good.

I Binge-Watched “High Society” for 24h straight, and I don’t regret it!

Yup, It’s not a clickbait title(I wish), I really Binge-Watched “High Society” for 24 hours. Am I Crazy?! Yes, yes I am! But did it feel good? Yes, it did.

So it all started yesterday when I was looking for something to watch. And I found “High Society”, decided to watch 2 episodes before bed and if I like it I would watch it tomorrow, that was the plan…I finished watching 11 episode 05:00 in the morning(and after 5 hours of sleep I finished watching the whole drama), how did it happen?! I don’t know, but this drama sucked me in. I laughed and cried, then laughed some more. And I can say that’s exactly what I needed, for some time my life was(and still is) going “slow”, and I’m in this “funk”, so this was something that I needed. Good emotions and a great storyline.

About the drama

f8e98e199df4a38972a43517fb3963c5Jang Yoon-Ha is the youngest daughter of a chaebol (family-owned conglomeration). Even though her family is extremely wealthy, she holds a part-time job at a food market. She hides her background as an heiress and attempts to find a man that loves her for herself

NarrowThinBlackwidowspider-max-1mbI’m in love with Park Hyung-Sik! He was simply amazing in this drama, I loved him as  Yoo Chang-Soo (and his mom was gold). The main couple Jang Yoon-Ha(Uee) and Choi Joon-Gi(Sung Joon) was okay, they had great chemistry and the storyline was well written, sourcebut I was more invested in the relationship of  Yoo Chang-Soo(Park Hyung-Sik) and Lee Ji-Yi(Lim Ji-Yeon).

Definitely, recommend you to check this KDrama out!

giphy (6)

Hello, my darlings! How are you doing? Hope this week is going great for you. It’s still quite hot here, and the only thing I can eat is ice cream. Can you believe it’s the end of June and the start of July already? I had such a great June, so many great memories were made. So let’s start with the favorites!

Beauty Favorites!

ISANA Clean + Care 3in1 wet wipes for every skin type

It’s cheap, takes off waterproof makeup and smells really nice! It’s a great product for the price, the only thing I don’t like is how my skin feels after using those because of all the oils in them. So if you have normal/dry skin you will love it .

RdeL Young strobing palette

I LOVE THIS!!! The middle color is the perfect highlight for me, I got it recently and already love it so much. I think will make a review on this one soon.

Essence All Eyes On Me Waterproof Mascara

It’s summer, so I need waterproof mascara because I don’t want to cry black sweat tears.I picked this one up. I enjoy essence makeup, I think they have really great quality for the price . And this mascara was a winner too, my eyelashes don’t clump up and look pretty natural, but still have that “fake” eyelash look.

Revolves around the narcissistic Vice President of a major corporation, Lee Young-joon, and his highly capable secretary. Misunderstandings arise when she announces that she will resign from her position, after working for Lee Young-joon for nine years.

Favorite beauty products

matt matt lipgloss

matt matt matt lipgloss in The color 03

This lipgloss is my favorite thing this month!I just love it so much. The texture is so nice on the lips and it (finally) doesn’t dry my lips out(as some of the liquid lipsticks I have tried in the past) and it’s long lasting and cheap!

Superdrug Dead Sea Purifying Clay Mask

I got this mask as a gift from my mom.I love this kind of masks, they leave you refreshed and your skin feeling clean. This one particular smell like citron.Recommend you to try some of the masks in this range!

Creme de coconut and keratin Conditioner

One of my friends got me this in England, and after the first try, this is my go-to conditioner. It smells so good and my hair feels so healthy and smooth after using this, and I can say that’s a big deal because my hair is dyed more times then I can count.

I had a “Bride of the Water God” marathon for two days straight.

For two days straight(on the weekend), I was basically glued to my computer screen. And you can IcpiOwdguess why…I was binge watching “Bride of the Water God”.Yes, yes I’m quite late to this. And If I’m honest, I wasn’t planning to watch it at all. Why? Because I had read manga(or is it manhwa) and knew the story and all of the “plot twists”(and I couldn’t see Nam Joo Hyuk in any other role than Jung Joon-Hyung(Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo))

The first 3 episodes I was excited. It was nothing like manga(seriously nothing aliketumblr_osk2n889pH1uosa8ho5_400 ).The story was fresh, interesting and Nam Joo Hyuk with heavy eyeliner?Yes, Please! I really was thinking ” Will it be my new “Goblin?”

Loved Those two together

But after those 3 episodes…it started to drag a little, it was still enjoyable, but it wasn’t as exciting for me. And I can say for sure, I liked this drama a lot…But I didn’t like the ending at all, I just felt unsatisfied with it. Genre: Comedy, Fantasy, Romance(All the stuff I love)

So What is my verdict for This drama?

4/5 stars!
