I got it from my friend, it was the wrong color match for her(in Latvia you can’t exchange cosmetic products) and she was like-You are super pale, here you go. And if you know me, I always love to try new products. So…I loved this one. It’s not oily and doesn’t break me out. The color is not the best match( I have Light), but in the summer it’s good.
From Martin Luther’s Wittenberg Theses by Meika Roth-Beka and Klauss Enzikat
This was very interesting. It’s a short story of Martin Luther and his Theses that changed the Christian world. It’s a picture book, but it’s not for children(I would say it’s for ages 12 and up). It would be a good supplement for history lessons.
Sisyphus The Myth
I have watched the first 4 episodes, and my mind was blown. It’s so good! Can’t wait to see were the story will go.
The Call (Korean: 콜; RR: Kol), also known as Call, is a 2020 South Korean thriller film directed by Lee Chung-hyun, starring Park Shin-hye and Jeon Jong-seo. Based on the 2011 British and Puerto Rican film The Caller, The Call revolves around Seo-yeon (If you are looking for something mind-bending, intriguing, and unexpected then this is for you! It does explore the question-what of you could stop something awful from happening? Is it worth it?) and Young-sook (Jeon Jong-seo), two women from different times who connect through a phone call which interchanges their fates. The film is originally to be released theatrically but cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. It was released on Netflix globally on November 27, 2020.
Thanks to Netflix I watched this one and I honestly loved it. Park Shin-Hye did an amazing job, I love her so much(she is such a talented actress). The last movie I watch with her as the main protagonist was #ALIVE(and it was amazing). Also, the actress Jeon Jong-seo who played the girl from “past” was super good in her role. Uhhhh it was great, would recommend it for a evening after work watch. Just keep in mind …there are lots of blood and maybe some missing body parts.
If you are looking for something mind-bending, intriguing, and unexpected then this is for you! It does explore the question –what if you could stop something awful from happening?Would you stop it and Is it worth it?
Hello, My Darlings! How are you all doing? This summer I and Boyfriend are having the time of our life traveling all over Latvia. One of the last adventures we had was in Cecilu nature trail near Ieriķi. It was themed by the local legend of a devil and his two wifes’ witches who lived there.
We walked the “short” trail of 2,5 km. And Can say it was hard, because of the heat(it was around 34C ) and mosquitos (thank you God for the spray), but guys…it was sooo beautiful. There was a mini waterfall and a “secret forest house” you needed to find.
To be honest, I wasn’t dressed appropriately(the whole trip was very spontaneous). So the whole hike was in a pencil skirt…at least I looked very cute.
Overall we had a ton of fun and I would totally recommend for you to check it out if you are in Latvia.
Hello, My Darlings! How are you all doing? So life was busy(like REALLY BUSY). First of all,I applied for a job in a bookstore, had an interview, and got the job. Parallel to that, it was my boyfriend’s birthday and vacation, so we spend a lot of time together(going hiking and surviving the heat, by the way, a post about it will go up tomorrow). So back to my new job, sadly after my first official workday, my health declined. Yeah,my first and last workday overall was good…just my health didn’t agree with it. That’s basically my June and the start of July in two sentences.
A male chef (Choi Jin Hyuk) has risen up the ranks to find a job cooking for the country’s top politicians in the South Korean presidential residences, the Blue House.
He is something of a dreamer – but one day finds himself in the body of a young queen from Korea’s past, Kim So Yong (Shin Hye Sun).
Kim So Yong’s husband is the reigning monarch, King Cheol Jong (Kim Jung Hyun). However, he is only king in name – the late King Sunjo’s Queen, Sun Won (Bae Jong Ok), has taken advantage of Cheol Jong’s better nature, and is ruling the realm in his name.
Queen Sun Won’s brother Kim Jwa Guen (Kim Tae Woo) also has designs on power.
However, Kim So Yong soon discovers that King Cheol Jong harbors secrets, and is not as gentle and meek as he seems…
When I watched the first episode…I was like…WHAT?!But after the second and third episodes, I was in love. The plot was very well done, very original. As someone who has seen dozens of kdramas, it’s very hard to surprise me…but this drama surprised me a lot! The acting was AMAZING, Shin Hye Sun did a phenomenal job playing a man stuck in a female body. I loved the costumes, the atmosphere, everything about this drama was great.
THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN OUR MAIN COUPLE(S)?
The chemistry was thru the roof! I loved the love/hate relationship the king and our young queen had, it was fun to watch. And It was believable, and that’s the most important thing in a drama.
HOW IT ENDS
This is why it’s not a 5-star drama…THE ENDING. It was…mehhh.Like, it just was so average, of course, I understand it’s hard to do something extraordinary with this story in a very conservative country(that is South Korea), but I expected more.

MY THOUGHTS :
I have an oily scalp, but dry ends. So seeing this shampoo I knew I needed to try it. So I did! For a month I tried it and here are my thoughts.
Pretty simple pink plastic bottle with a black cap. The bottle is translucent,so that’s nice, you can see how much of the product is still left.
QUALITY AND SCENT
It smells amazing! Such a beautiful scent that stays on your hair for hours after washing. The quality is very good. The shampoo is thick and you don’t need a lot of product too really clean your hair(and that’s good).
MY HAIR AFTER MONTH OF USE
My hair feels strong, but not super healthy. It’s a good shampoo, but it’s not my favorite. It did help my scalp with the excess oil. Will I repurchase it? Yes, but only at a discount.
The Books of the Bible (New Testament) is a revolutionary new presentation of Scripture that strips away centuries of artificial formatting, leaving behind nothing but pure Bible text. The result is a Bible unlike any other available today, but more like the original Scriptures. The Books of the Bible is specially designed to be read from start to finish, as if you were reading a novel. Natural literary breaks have been restored and the books have been rearranged chronologically, rather than by length, leading to a more authentic presentation of the Bible. There is also a helpful introduction to each book that sets the text in context, rather than adding explanation or application. The NIV text is also set in single-column format, rather than in two columns as you usually find in the Bible. This aids reading longer chunks at a time, as you would if you were reading a novel for pleasure.
This edition features colour photos from the LUMO Project films of the four Gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The project has been informed by leading world experts’ latest theological, historical and archaeological research on every aspect of life in first-century Palestine. It was shot on location in Morocco, using the very latest 35mm digital film cameras to ensure picture quality of the very highest standard across a number of platforms – cinema, broadcast, BluRay, DVD, and the web. The voice-over script is taken from the NIV Bible but the films have been shot with the intention of overlaying the Bible text in any language. These multi-language Biblical resources are set to transform the way in which people engage, discover and study the life of Jesus through the Gospels.
This was the answer to my prayers. I was praying for the right bible for me and I found this one at a very great discount in my local bookstore. As someone who is pretty new to bible reading, this looked AMAZING(and to be honest it is!)
First of all, it has maps to see how the region looked at the time of Jesus. As well as the “Chronology of the Drama” (that’s basically the whole bible story in chronological order).
It doesn’t have the verses numbered on the actual page, but on the corner, and because of that, it’s easier to read, not too intimidating. I love that, but I know that not everyone will like it. The print size is very good, my eyes don’t hurt after reading and that’s amazing. Overall This is a great bible for a new believer or anyone who is new to reading a bible, It’s easy to read and understand. The photos help to fully immerse in the scriptures.
Complete your outfit with a show-stopping fragrance. Our Little Black Dress Eau de Parfum is a delicate blend of exotic garden notes. This fragrance is a timeless accessory and a finishing touch to any outfit.
• Size: 30ml • Top note: Honeysuckle • Middle note: Ylang-ylang • Base note: Milkwood
MY THOUGHTS :
I got the 30 ml bottle, so it’s different from the “big” bottle. It came in a cute cardboard box without the plastic wrap(didn’t like that). It’s made from sturdy glass with a plastic cap. Avon has two types of bottles for their 30 ml fragrances, and I can say this type I’m enjoying much more. It’s easier to bring with you.
QUALITY AND SCENT
This is truly a “little black dress” kind of scent! Like…it’s so universal, perfect for every day and any occasion. It’s not too sweet or too strong and can say many people will like it. Was it my favorite? Not really, but I do like it. The quality is great, and it stays on for 4 h straight on your skin.
I got this scent for under 4 euros and that’s an amazing deal! The quality is great and it would make a cute gift for someone(maybe like a Mother’s day gift). Overall I would totally recommend this perfume.
great for everyday use
you can get 30 ml, 50 m, or 100 ml
Great gift idea
You can’t buy it in a store, just from a representative

I Love Lucy is an American television sitcom that originally aired on CBS from October 15, 1951, to May 6, 1957, with a total of 180 half-hour episodes spanning six seasons. The show starred Lucille Ball, her then real-life husband Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance, and William Frawley. It followed the life of Lucy Ricardo (Ball), a young middle-class housewife in New York City, who either concocted plans with her best friends Ethel and Fred Mertz (Vance and Frawley) to appear alongside her bandleader husband Ricky Ricardo (Arnaz) in his nightclub, or tried numerous schemes to mingle with, or be a part of show business. After the series ended in 1957, a modified version continued for three more seasons with 13 one-hour specials; it ran from 1957 to 1960. It was first known as The Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Show and later in reruns as The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour.I Love Lucy became the most-watched show in the United States in four of its six seasons, and it was the first to end its run at the top of the Nielsen ratings (an accomplishment later matched only by The Andy Griffith Show in 1968 and Seinfeld in 1998).
Another vintage Tv Show I am putting on my Favorites List! This is such a classic and I haven’t seen it, being that I’m from Europe. So now Thanks to technology I could watch it and It was amazing. I can totally see why it was (and still is) so popular. It’s easy to watch, funny, and has such a lovable cast. My concern with any old ‘classic” is …How racist and sexist it really is? And I can say it wasn’t that bad(just by watching the first season, can’t comment on the others yet). Yes, it has a big emphasis on the “women place” at home and “men’s place” at the workplace. But taking into the account the year and what was “expected” from people and families in particular at that time,I can’t really criticize. So overall I’m very happy with this TV show, it’s perfect for casual watching when you cook or clean. (And my boyfriend’s parrots love the opening)
Henry “Monty” Montague was born and bred to be a gentleman, but he was never one to be tamed. The finest boarding schools in England and the constant disapproval of his father haven’t been able to curb any of his roguish passions—not for gambling halls, late nights spent with a bottle of spirits, or waking up in the arms of women or men.
But as Monty embarks on his Grand Tour of Europe, his quest for a life filled with pleasure and vice is in danger of coming to an end. Not only does his father expect him to take over the family’s estate upon his return, but Monty is also nursing an impossible crush on his best friend and traveling companion, Percy.
Still it isn’t in Monty’s nature to give up. Even with his younger sister, Felicity, in tow, he vows to make this yearlong escapade one last hedonistic hurrah and flirt with Percy from Paris to Rome. But when one of Monty’s reckless decisions turns their trip abroad into a harrowing manhunt that spans across Europe, it calls into question everything he knows, including his relationship with the boy he adores.
The story– 3/5
Setting of the book– 2,5/5
Smexy Times?– Some
OVERALL – 3/5 STARS
I know I know…everyone has read it like years ago, so I’m a little late to the party. So…What did I think? To be honest, because of the “hype” this book had I expected much more, but…it was just average. The writing style was good, but the plot was lacking. I wanted more of the world-building. But the romance in this book was cute,I liked it. Was it enjoyable? Yes! Will I ever reread it? No!
FAVORITE QUOTES FROM THE BOOK
“Nice to have you along, Felicity.” I clamp the pipe between my teeth and fish about in my pocket for the flint. “Remind me again where we’re permitted to drop you by the side of the road.”
“How is it that we’ve landed the only bear-leader for hire who’s entirely entirely opposed to the true purpose of the Tour?”“Which is . . . remind me.”“Strong spirits and loose women.”“Sounds instead like it’s going to be weak wine with dinner and handling yourself in your bedroom after.”-
“You are the thieves.”“Monty’s the thief,” Felicity says.“No, I am the second thief. Which I think cancels out my thievery.”
They should be throwing gratitude and kindness and cream puffs at us, though I’d settle for just the cream puffs.
