Hello, My Darlings! It’s day 14 of Blogtober…Yes, yes you read it right we are talking Christmas budget and how to save money(it’s never too early). “Thanks” to the pandemic I don’t have a stable income anymore, so budgeting is important and very needed. Here are some tips and tricks that actually work(and at the end of the post you will find a free pdf).
Start buying stuff Now! YES NOW!
You see a great deal on candles? Buy some! You go grocery shopping and find a cute blanket at a discount your aunt would totally love? Get it , It’s easier to spend 10 euros every month now than 30 euros in December. What will you feel more?
Decide what you want to buy to buy and google it
You decided on these cute socks for your boyfriend? Don’t buy the first ones you find, Google it. There is a very good chance you will find it cheaper. Do your research.
Handmade is always a great idea!
Handmade gifts(or something handmade to put too your gift) are always a great idea and usually really affordable. Get inspired, look on Pinterest, and get creative.
It’s so easy to just go on and buy more and more, not stopping. So make a budget and stick to it. Feel free to download this free printable to make your life easier this festive season.
Hello, My Darlings! It’s day 13 of Blogtober and we are looking back to some fun summer memories. This summer I was lucky enough to travel Latvia with my darling Boyfriend. One of my favorite trips was to Sigulda, with so much history and beautiful nature.
Gutma’s Cave-The oldes tourist attraction in Latvia
This is the widest and highest cave in the Baltic.Tourists have wished to leave “decorations” such as names, initials, and the dates of their trips inscribed on the cave’s walls since the cave’s inception. You can see coats of arms and names of numerous barons and estate owners inside the cave.
Local craftsmen would wait for wealthier tourists near the cave with tools, stepladders, and templates to make these to order for a price.
Now the cave is a protected archeological and geological monument, so no writing on the walls.
The Krimulda Castle
The Krimulda Castle is located just outside Sigulda, Sigulda municipality, Latvia, and is a tourist attraction. The castle dates from the 14th century and was destroyed in a war in 1601 and it still stands, and the view from it is beautiful.
Krimuldas Church-The oldest church in Latvia
Built-in 1205, this ancient church is the oldest functioning house of worship in Latvia. It is closely associated with the Livonian chieftain Kaupo who is either buried in or nearby the church depending on which sources you choose to believe. Kaupo was the first important tribal chief in the area to embrace the Christian faith and even made a pilgrimage to Rome where Pope Innocent III received him and recognized him as the ruler of the Livonian tribes in present-day Latvia.
He left with a gift of gold with which he build the church. It’s located in a beautiful area surrounded by streams, forests, and nature trails as well as the 18th-century Minister’s House accessible by a wooden pedestrian bridge. Truly an amazing place , a beautiful one too.
Overall I would highly recommend you to visit Sigulda when traveling to Latvia. It’s beautiful and full of history(and you will definitely take instagram worthy photos).

Hello, My Darlings! How are you? It’s Blogtober day 10 and we are talking favorites(beauty, books, and Music), September favorites to be exact. Last month was full of trips, memories, and my birthday(post about it you can read here). My favorites are all over the place, let’s dive into it!
Super affordable shampoo that works. For 400 ml I paid 2.34 euro. And this smells amazing! Like sooo good, and my hair looks amazing after using it.Gentle shampoo(like super gentle), my hair color doesn’t fade after using and that’s always good. Would definitely recommend it.
Hello, My Darlings! It’s day 8 of Blogtober and we are talking Photo editing. Have you ever struggled with photo editing? Or you don’t know anything about it? Here are some easy-to-use apps and programs. Hope you find it helpful
Use Presets for Lightroom
This is my new obsesion ,so easy to use and your photos always look AMAZING.So what’s a preset? It’s a pre-made lightroom app settings for your photos. Very easy to put in your app or on computer. You can buy really cheap presets on Etsy (I got mine under 1 euro)or you can find some free ones on the internet.
Free Program PhotoScape
This is still my go-to for photo editing! It’s free, easy to use, and has lots of good settings to play with. Fun fact -this was my first program where I made my blog banner and signature card. You can download it here free.
Snow or Facetune
I use Snow for my bookstagram, it has so many fun filters and settings. You can even edit short videos with it. It’s free and easy to use. Totally recommend. Facetune is pretty similar, but not as fun. So try both of those to find the perfect fit.
Hello, My Darlings! How are you all doing? It’s the 6th day of Blogtober and let’s talk travel. It was my birthday at the end of last month(I’m officially 26!) and still, with all the restrictions in place we were able to have a nice and memorable trip. So what we did was -hop into the car, drive for an hour and just turn to see whatever interesting thing we find down the road(thankfully every cool sightseeing object in Latvia is marked with road signs to easily find it even if you are not looking for it specifically).
It was such a beautiful day, yes it was windy but in the sun it was warm. Such a peaceful place, the only downside for me was how many people there were, but we did go on Sunday so what did I expect :D.
Had so much fun walking on those big rocks, and well…Got some cute pictures.
The actual Cliffs were a lot smaller than I expected but still very cool and interesting. There were some info boards on the cliffs and interesting facts, as a history junky that I am I was delighted.
Overall I had an amazing birthday and the trip was a treat(Thanks Babe).
Hello, My Darlings!Hope you all are doing great. It’s day 5 of Blogtober, and we are talking Date Ideas. Some of those are my favorites, so here are some cheap and free date night ideas you can try today.
Scary Movie Marathon
Get Popcorn, candy, some cozy blankets. Turn on your favorite scary movies and enjoy the night.Easy to plan and very affordable.
Hello, my darlings! How are you all doing? It’s Blogtober day 4 and we are talking Netflix shows. What’s your favorite Netflix show? I would love to read about it in the comments. So…The weather is becoming more and more cold and rainy, so here you have my list of shows to binge-watch on Netflix(and a cool list with checkmarks you can print). Let’s dive into it!
The Show list
When two children go missing in a small German town, its sinful past is exposed along with the double lives and fractured relationships that exist among four families as they search for the kids. The mystery-drama series introduces an intricate puzzle filled with twists that includes a web of curious characters, all of whom have a connection to the town’s troubled history — whether they know it or not. The story includes supernatural elements that tie back to the same town in 1986. “Dark” represents the first German original series produced for Netflix.
Why you should watch it?-Simple, this is the most mind-bending show ever made…I’m serious. It was such a gem we found. My and Boyfriend watched it, and so many theories …so much info to keep up with, but soooo worth it. Definitely a favorite you should watch
Hundreds of years in the future, the last surviving humans discover a way of sending consciousness back through time, directly into people in the 21st century — “travelers,” who assume the lives of seemingly random people. They’re also secretly working as teams to perform missions in order to save humanity from a terrible future. Armed only with their knowledge of history and an archive of social media profiles, the travelers — who include an FBI agent, a single mother and a college student — discover that 21st-century relationships are as much of a challenge as their high-stakes missions.
Why you should watch it?– If you are into timetraveling and scary thriller type movies ,this is for you(now thinking almost all of those are time traveling showa lol).Definetly a perfect fall tv-show you will enjoy.
Rick and Morty
After having been missing for nearly 20 years, Rick Sanchez suddenly arrives at daughter Beth’s doorstep to move in with her and her family. Although Beth welcomes Rick into her home, her husband, Jerry, isn’t as happy about the family reunion. Jerry is concerned about Rick, a sociopathic scientist, using the garage as his personal laboratory. In the lab, Rick works on a number of sci-fi gadgets, some of which could be considered dangerous. But that’s not all Rick does that concerns Jerry. He also goes on adventures across the universe that often involve his grandchildren, Morty and Summer.
Why you should watch it?-A favorite of many, Rick and Morty is something you can binge-watch when you just want to “turn off” your brain and relax. Full of crude humor it’s definitely a show to watch with your brother/boyfriend or male friends.
What would you do for love? For a brilliant male bookstore manager who crosses paths with an aspiring female writer, this question is put to the test. A charming yet awkward crush becomes something even more sinister when the writer becomes the manager’s obsession. Using social media and the internet, he uses every tool at his disposal to become close to her, even going so far as to remove any obstacle –including people — that stands in his way of getting to her.
Why you should watch it?-This is creepy…a very realistic depiction of a stalker. I’m watching this one right now and this is good. A real-life “horror” story, mixed with love and drama.Binge-watching worthy!
Hotel Del Luna
Located in the middle of Seoul, Hotel del Luna is the eponymous hotel that caters only to ghosts; the beautiful but ill-tempered CEO is cursed to manage the hotel due to a terrible crime she committed, but cannot remember.
Why you should watch it?-One of my favorites tv-shows ever. It’s spooky, funny, creepy, and heartbreaking…utterly perfection. If you haven’t watched it or are new to kdramas please give it a try.
The witcher Geralt, a mutated monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world in which people often prove more wicked than beasts.
Why you should watch it?-Another one to watch with your boyfriend…Ohhh this was good( season 2 is coming in December, I’m so excited). Perfect to binge-watch if you are an epic fantasy fan or love adventure shows.
Hello, My Darlings! It’s day 2 of Blogtober and we are talking about bucket lists. Do you make bucket lists for seasons? I usually don’t, but for Fall…I love doing it. Maybe because September is my birthday month, or I just love doing something more structured. Here is my list, feel free to join me (so we can do it together).
