So….I binge watched it for 12h straight…Do I regret it?No….not at all.

(But I do need to make smarter life choices )

I didn’t expect to like this,at all. But I did! Usualy I don’t like long dramas( more then 32 episodes),because it can feel really forced after some time. This was such a beautiful(and hilarious)story of family and relationships .Loved the plot ,all of the story arcs were really thought thru ,well directed and the acting was amazing! I really recommend you to go in blind because that’s how I did it and didn’t regret it. Overall an amazing drama, would highly recommend for you to check it out .

(If you are a Got7 fan it’s your lucky day, they are mentioned through out the drama)

I was excited about this drama ,I love Hwang Jung Eum and almost all of her dramas are in my favorite list. And both of the love interests are really great actors who I enjoy. This had everything I love in a drama : past lives, fantasy aspect, lots of cute moments, very well done love triangle…so why I didn’t absolutely love it? This was almost the same as “Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter, the idea was the same…the main love interests were the same actors…The main difference was this one is more realistic, but that’s basically it.

I was disappointed, maybe if I haven’t seen Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter I would absolutely love this one

3,5/5 Stars

This is the situation when the second love interest has better chemistry with the main lead actress. I will not spoil anything, but….the chemistry was through the roof !

*Mild Spoilers*

The big theme of this drama was ” Not getting married”,and well it ended on that. It wasn’t bad,or good…just mehhh.

Demons in the Bedroom(Paranormal House Flippers #1)by Lidiya Foxglove- book review

Have you inherited a creepy old house that needs updated bathroom tiles, a new kitchen, and an exorcism?

Call me: Helena Nicolescu, the best house flipper witch on the east coast.

But I have to admit, I might be in over my head this time. I bought “Lockwood House” at an auction, and the magical community definitely knew something was up, because my rivals were all in on it, including Jake and Jasper, the infuriating wolf shifter twins who think they’re so much better at renovations than me. I overpaid and now I’m stuck with a mess. Floors caving in, 70s carpeting, and…the ghost of an incubus who won’t stop flirting with me while I’m trying to demo.

That’s not the only problem. The former owner’s son seems to be drawn to the place against his own will. My witch radar is going off big time, telling me he has demon blood coursing through his own veins. And the wolves must smell trouble in the air, because they keep sniffing around too. I’ll definitely never tell them that I keep uncovering disconcerting artifacts throughout the house. And more than anything, I won’t admit that they both look pretty good in a tool belt. Why does this house seem like it’s calling trouble to the doorstep?

I have eight weeks to get this done and then I’m putting this mansion on the market and moving on.

This is a medium-burn reverse harem romance!

“Extraordinary You”- disappointed me

extra kdramaWhat would you do if you found out that you were in fact a character in a comic? And an extra character on top of that? Change the course of the story, obviously!

Eun Danoh is a 17 year old high-school student from a wealthy family who suffers from a lifelong heart condition that inevitably means she will not live past her teenage years. However, when Danoh realizes she is experiencing long gaps in her memory as well, she comes into the unhappy inheritance of another fact in her life: she is a character in a Korean webtoon and all of her actions are predetermined by the artist who draws her. To make matters worse, she discovers she is only a supporting character in the cast. With her newfound understanding of the world she inhabits, she is determined to find true love in her own plot-line and circumvent the author’s plans for her character by utilizing the flashes of storyboard she alone is able to see.

Country: Korean

Status: Completed

Released: 2019

Genre: Comedy; Fantasy; Friendship; Romance; School; Youth;

plotIt’s such a unique idea, a comic book character that finds out she is in a comic book?! That’s such a cool thing. The first 8 episodes were amazing, I loved every second of it, though maybe it’s my new Goblin?! …but after those episodes, it started to drag. Like there was so much going on, but it felt so flat…I don’t know why. So disappointing…

It’s 3 stars out of 5 stars for me !

coupleUnpopular opinion – I didn’t like any of the Love interests. For me, it was more a self-journey and you really didn’t need a love interest in this one. So we have the Haru the character who isn’t in the main story andcouple 2 Eun Danoh’s fiance in the comics Baek Kyung. There was chemistry between this love triangle,I just personally didn’t care about it.

(mild spoilers)

It was an open-ended ending, with a bittersweet feeling.  I’m okay with it, I kind of saw it coming.

The Most Eligible Lord in London by Ella Quinn – book review

But can the ton’s most elusive lord convince the lady he is finally serious about marriage—as long as she will be his bride?

The story– 4,5/5

Setting of the book– 3,5/5

Main Hero– 5/5

Smexy Times?– Yes

Overall – 4/5 stars

4 stars

Littleton and Adeline’s story was beautifully written, yes it’s started a little bit slower than I would like, but it didn’t ruin the story. I liked the family dynamic we got to see (the matrons were the best). This is a sweeter story than I anticipated. Littleton is very kind and charming, very sweet and considerate. Nothing “rake” about him at all. The whole story we get to see from three points of view- Miss Adelaide,Lord Littleton, and Lord Anglesley. It was a really big surprise for me, but it did give the story another interesting layer. So basically we get a love triangle, but regency style.

If you want something sweet, to read before bed and really be transported to the regency era than this is for you!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

Then a dimple appeared on his left cheek. It was a shame he was ineligible; he really was the most handsome man she had ever seen.

You look like you are making a study of the mating behavior of an unknown civilization

If you ask me, he shoulda paid more mind to what she was saying early on. Took him too long to make out that she weren’t the right lid for his pot.”

She had used the word “we.”

I need to find a gentleman to dangle in front of Miss Hanson. He should have a title.”

Nothing like sacrificing your fellow man,” Turley said with feeling.

“He has no desire to marry. Her tone was sharp and bitter. “But he will make a lady think she is his sun, moon, and stars.”

In other words, a rake.

I wonder if she will have to wait to be asked, or if the fact that she is a duchess enables her to propose to the gentleman,” Miss Hanson said.

Lady Bellamny quickly put an end to that speculation. “The only lady allowed to propose to a gentleman is a queen or a princess.”

Book Review – The Marriage Pact by Winter Renshaw(Spoiler free)

I was sixteen when I vowed I would never marry him.
We shook on it. Pinky swore. Even put it in writing and all but signed our names in blood.
It was the one and only thing we ever agreed on.
To the world, he’s Prince Julian, Duke of Montcroix, second in line to the Chamont throne. Panty-melting accent. Royal charm. Hypnotic presence. Blindingly gorgeous. Laundry list of women all over the world who would give their first born for the chance to marry him. Most eligible bachelor in the free world …
But to me, he’s nothing more than the son of my father’s best friend—the pesky blue-eyed boy who made it his mission to annoy the ever-loving hell out of me summer after summer as our families vacationed together, our parents oblivious to our mutual disdain as they joked about our “betrothal.”
He was also my first kiss.
And my first taste of heartbreak so cataclysmic it almost broke me.
I meant it with every fiber of my soul when I swore I’d never marry him.
But on the eve of my 24th birthday, His Royal Highness has the audacity to show up at my door after years of silence and make a demand will forever change the trajectory of our lives: “We have to break our pact.”

Ahh…..This was underwhelming. I expected a little bit of a different story. The ‘plot twist” was teased almost in every chapter ….it was unexpected but underwhelming. The story has problems ,was the worst book ever? No. I enjoyed some parts, it was an okay book, I loved the setting, the writing was good. Would I recommend? For a fast summer read sure

Come Undone: A Love Triangle by Crystal Kaswell-Review

LR0QHello, my darlings! How are you all doing? Today I want to talk about a new book by Crystal Kaswell. I’m a part of Crystal’s ARC team(still don’t know how I got in),and they send me an ARC copy for review. This time it was “Come Undone”, a love triangle story. So let’s dive right into it!

About the book:

Her fiance doesn’t want her anymore. Her new neighbor would do anything to have her.

From the outside, Alyssa has the perfect life. Beautiful apartment. Handsome high school sweetheart. Impending wedding.

Only her fiance doesn’t love her anymore. He disappears into work, leaving her alone with her emptiness.

Until Luke. The brooding lawyer needs a beautiful distraction. Soft lips against his chest, hard nails against his back, Alyssa groaning his name.

He doesn’t care that she belongs to someone else. He’s going to claim her anyway.

My Thoughts :

4/5 stars

1280px-4_stars.svg (1)

It was very different than I expected. First of all, I love the book cover. The story was written in much darker tones and I don’t always like it(you need to be in the “mood to read stuff like that), but this was written so well.I enjoyed the story and how things were unfolding. Alyssa’s life and love life is worth reading. If you like not sugar-coated stories, but raw and real ones then you will love this one!

Disclaimer-It does talks about toxic relationship and an eating disorder. If you are triggered by things like this, better skip this one. And it has sexy times, just so you know.

I received an advanced copy of this manuscript and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

You can find this book on Amazon.

What I’m going to read this month aka My EBook haul!

Photo by Aliis Sinisalu on Unsplash

giphy (24)

Hello, my darlings! How are you all doing? How’s your August?  Did you miss me? I’m back with a little ebook haul. So recently I was in a reading slump and finally, I’m out of it and that means NEW BOOKS!!! Some of them are new releases, well most of them and I can’t wait to read them! Let’s start with the haul.

The Cheerleaders

Kara Thomas

It sounds amazing! After reading the premise I was sold. Can’t wait to read it and give you my review.

About the book: There are no more cheerleaders in the town of Sunnybrook.

First, there was the car accident—two girls gone after hitting a tree on a rainy night. Not long after, the murders happened. Those two girls were killed by the man next door. The police shot him, so no one will ever know why he did it. Monica’s sister was the last cheerleader to die. After her suicide, Sunnybrook High disbanded the cheer squad. No one wanted to be reminded of the girls they lost.

That was five years ago. Now the faculty and students at Sunnybrook High want to remember the lost cheerleaders. But for Monica, it’s not that easy. She just wants to forget. Only, Monica’s world is starting to unravel. There are the letters in her stepdad’s desk, an unearthed, years-old cell phone, a strange new friend at school. . . . Whatever happened five years ago isn’t over. Some people in town know more than they’re saying. And somehow Monica is at the center of it all.

There are no more cheerleaders in Sunnybrook, but that doesn’t mean anyone else is safe.

The Billionaire’s Wake-up-call Girl

I love romantic comedies, and this one sounds very promising (and the cover is gorgeous ). I expect it to be a 4 star read at least, but will see how it goes.

About the book : When my manager assigns me the task of finding a new wake up call service for our CEO, I think, how hard can this be?

Answer: practically impossible. It turns out that no wake-up call company in the world will take him on as a client. They’ve all had enough of his surly personality.

So in an effort not to lose my job, I secretly start making the calls myself, every day at 4:30 am sharp. OMG yes you read that right—four freaking thirty in the morning.

Confession: I’m not the nicest wake-up-call girl at that hour. Hello! Who wakes up before the roosters are even crowing? Luckily he doesn’t seem to mind my get-your-ass-out-of-bed attitude.

Day by day we’re becoming closer, and the calls start turning hot, like pay-by-the-minute hot and oh-so-wild. Snuggled under the covers with the moonlight streaming in the windows, we divulge our secrets to each other, but the one thing that he can never find out is that the sexy vixen who wakes him up every morning is just the lowly assistant who wears frumpy dresses. I can only imagine his disappointment.

Now he wants to take me out on a date and he’s scouring Manhattan to find me. He’s an overachieving billionaire bent on a mission. How much longer can I keep up this charade

Butterface (The Hartigans #1)

Avery Flynn

Okay, so this one I have already read. And I did gave it 4 stars. Would recommend.

About the book: It’s true. I’m not what most people would call “pretty” and, well, high school was rough. Fast forward ten years and life is good…

Until a bunch of jerks thinks it’s hilarious to put the “butterface” (AKA me) on a wedding Kiss Cam with the hottest guy ever—and that old humiliation hits hard.

I recognize him immediately. The sexiest cop in Waterbury and totally out of my league.

But then he kisses me.

And we totally forget the room, the crowd, everything.

Then he tells everyone we’ve been dating for months.

Soon everything starts to feel too real, from adorable fights over “necessary” tools to fix my broken porch to surviving a free-for-all dinner with his six siblings to picking up where our last kiss left off.

But there’s something he’s not telling me about why he’s really hanging around, and I’m pretty sure it has to do with my mob-connected brothers.

Because this is not a make-over story, and Cinderella is only a fairy tale…

My Perfect Ex-Boyfriend

The cover sold me on this book first, then I read the premise…and yassss this sounds like so much fun!

About the book: I’ve met the greatest guy ever.

Noah Walsh is handsome as sin. He’s sweet and smart and successful and sexy—all the best adjectives beginning with “S.” My six-year-old daughter worships the ground he walks on ever since he fashioned her smiley face pancakes out of bananas and blueberries. Oh yeah, and he can cook.

The only problem?

I dumped this great guy a decade ago, right after I wrecked his life.

And boy, this man holds a grudge.

Tell me in the comments, Have you read any of those books? What did you think?
